Fraxel Dual Laser is extremely effective for permanent reduction of acne scars. It is our most common acne scar treatment due to the high level of client satisfaction. Fraxel Dual is a deep laser treatment that can target the deep acne scars, even pitted scars. It can also treat the hyper-pigmentation (increased dark colour) commonly seen in acne scars.
The PicoSure Laser is a new advancement in laser technology which has changed the way we approach skin rejuvenation. The PicoSure laser is very fast (with speed measured in trillionths of a second) and it mechanically disrupts pigment and scars instead of using high heat. It has become the go-to treatment for pigmentation, wrinkles, and acne scars for those who want the convenience of a quick, no down-time treatment, that is easily tolerated and with a high safety profile.
Microneedling uses very fine needles that enter the skin at precise depths, depending on the patient’s goals. This controlled puncturing of the skin helps to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, laxity, uneven skin texture,large pores, and scars. Radiofrequency (RF) energy is simultaneously delivered to the deeper layers of the skin to promote collagen production, resulting in tighter skin. For improved comfort, we incorporate galvanic energy in our treatments. Galvanic energy contributes to the comfort of the procedure by changing the pH balance of the skin, which is a way of subtly anesthetizing the skin. Radiofrequency Microneedling is safe for all skin types and has minimal downtime.
