Oxygeneo 3-in-1 Treatment
It's been dubbed the new "super facial", and the OxyGeneo, the popular medical esthetics offering at Glow Medi Spa in downtown Toronto, could very well be that. The all-in-one exfoliation, infusion and oxygenation treatment can be viewed here on this YouTube video along with Dr. Diane Wong's interview with Beauty Editor, Anne Dimon.
LOOKING FOR A PRE SPECIAL EVENT SKIN BOOST? TRY THIS THREE-IN-ONE TREATMENT
It's been dubbed the new "super facial", and the OxyGeneo, the popular medical esthetics offering at Glow Medi Spa in downtown Toronto, could very well be that. The all-in-one exfoliation, infusion and oxygenation treatment, replacing microdermabrasion, chemical peels and oxygenating facials, promises to leave skin looking smoother and revitalized while minimizing fine lines. We tried it, and it does what it claims. Plus, there is no down time.
Inspired by natural hot springs that have an increased concentration of CO2 which encourages the flow of oxygen to the surface of the skin (known as the Bohr Effect), the OxyGeneo treatment refreshes and revives skin giving it a glow due to this increased oxygenation and cell metabolism. Freshly exfoliated, oxygenated and cleansed, the skin is then better able to absorb the retinol-based formula - customized to individual needs - massaged into the skin during the procedure. From start to finish - including before and after photos - the entire service takes about an hour.
We like the fact the OxyGeneo is results-oriented and non-invasive, and the price point of $145 - which includes a mineral make-up application as part of the service - is good beauty value.
The 12-year old Glow Medi Spa, owned and operated by Dr. Diane Wong, offers a full range of medical esthetics and has recently added a Beauty Bar for soft esthetics.
